Villa Beaulieu

The Villa is situated in a residential area in Riorges, next to Roanne. We are about 600m from shops and 2 kms from Roanne centre.

Accommodation

The Villa Beaulieu has been lovingly restored and adapted to the school's needs. Bedrooms are new & comfortable.  

We are pleased to offer accommodation in twin rooms with private bath and toilet, twin rooms with private shower and toilet and single rooms with private facilities.

The school  areas such as the entrance, dining room, rest rooms, classrooms and bedrooms are non-smoking areas.

We ask all smokers to smoke outdoors.

Entertainment

A city famous for its gastronomy, the agglomeration of Roanne (population 120,000) has a large selection of restaurants, the most famous of which is Troisgrois Restaurant: classified 3 star Michelin, Troisgros is one of the top ten restaurants in France.

As Roanne borders on the Beaujolais and Burgundy wine areas, guests can make one- or two-day car trips from Roanne to these areas while the Côtes Roannaises vineyards and wine cellars are located on the outskirts of Roanne itself.

Getting around Roanne

We are at less than 1km to the shops and there is a local market on Sunday mornings. Additionally, a local bus-stop is conveniently located 5 minutes from the school which will take you to the city centre.  A parking area is available for guests arriving by car.

Car Hire is possible with Budget, Europcar, Hertz, or Avis Rent-a-Car for those wishing to make trips further afield. Approximate cost: weekend 120 euros. In general, there are no automatics available. Automatics are available from Avis at Lyon Satolas airport if reserved in advance. Bring your international driving license. Please contact the web sites for each provider for up-to-date pricing.

A taxi from the city centre costs about 10 euros during the day and about 12-15 euros at night.

Certificates and Reports

Upon completion of a course, guests are given an Ecoles des Trois Ponts Certificate and a Course Report giving details of their level at the end of the course.
